Keep Looking Up

Christmas morning had already been foretold not only in the New Testament but in the Old Testament where it said that a Savior, the Messiah would be born just as it says in Isaiah 7:14, “The Lord Himself will give you a sign; Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel”. So when the time was drawing near 3 wise men set out to find this child, Who would be the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Messiah, and as they went they kept looking up as they were following 3 bright stars that was seen in the distant sky. Those 3 stars would come together as One when the Child was born and so they kept looking up and studied the stars as they traveled on their way in search of the Messiah. Isaiah 9:6 says, For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given: And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Micah 5:2 says, “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah Yet out of you shall come forth to me The One to be Ruler in Israel Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting. So the 3 wise men traveled on towards Bethlehem while always looking up at the stars waiting for the 3 stars to become One and there the Child would be. Not only were the wise men looking up but the shepherds who were out in the fields also looked up and saw the star that shined so brightly that they followed it and found a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and this was Christmas morning and they all worshiped the Savior, Who was the greatest gift given to us all. So remember to keep looking up for whether it is a cloud or a bright star, the word of God is true and it is the promise to us who believe. Be thankful for the greatest gift ever given Jesus the Christ our Redeemer and soon coming King. Merry Christmas and God Bless.
