His mercies and grace are new everyday and I thank Him for that especially in these times of separation and isolation for when we are alone and apart from the body of Christ our minds tend to wander and think about who we are and who we are not, at least mine does and I am trying to be transparent as we are being taught in the ‘Journey’ and that can be very tricky at least I think so because our enemy will try to confuse us and try to make us think and believe that we are less than what we are and try to tell us that we are not men and women of God, children of the most High and brothers and sisters of Christ but we are hypocrites, impostors, and that is when we really need His mercy and grace. Even though we know we have fallen short and done some things wrong we know that if we have confessed it and done all we can to make it right then that is all we can do because we do not have the power to change hearts and minds only God does through His Holy Spirit. We just need to stay in prayer and stand on His word and hope that all things will work out for our good for isn’t that what His word tells us in Romans 8:28 ” And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” We need to bring every thought captive as it says in 2nd Corinthians 10:5 b, ” bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” We need to remember that His grace is sufficient as it says in 2nd Corinthians 12:9, And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” So when we are having those moments of weakness or those thoughts flash through of minds let us always remember the word of God that has been engraved in our hearts and know that His mercies are new everyday as it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, ” Through the LORD’S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassion’s fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Know we might be isolated from the body of Christ but we are never isolated from Him for His word tells us in Hebrews 13:5 b, For He Himself said, ” I will never leave you or forsake you.” Be strong and courageous, stay prayed up, hide the word in your heart and know that we are covered by the Blood.
