If our eyes are always looking to the cross we will never feel alone because with the cross we have Jesus the One who died for us and we know that there is no safer place to be than at the feet of Jesus.Yet we can’t stay at His feet because we know, He is not there for He rose with all power and authority. Just as the picture above shows and empty cross with footprints, then even the footprints disappear in the sand but if you look even closer at the picture above the sand appears as steps which represents His ascension into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God, our Father in heaven where He mediates and prays for us continually. So when we are feeling alone especially during this time of social isolation due to the Pandemic we need to remember that after He ascended back to the Father, He sent us His Holy Spirit, Who dwells in us giving us all power and authority just as He had. His word tells us in John 14:12-14, Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to My Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it.” That means we are never really alone and our Father hears us when we call upon the Name of Jesus, we have to continue to call on the Name of Jesus and stand together even though we are separated at this moment and time for we are together in Spirit and in Truth and when we activate the Holy Spirit through our intercession and prayers for all God will move because He is not like man that He should lie, Hid word accomplishes all that it is sent out to do, we just have to believe and trust God to do what He said He would do and that is that He said, “He would never leave us or forsake us.” So remember to keep the faith, continue to pray and stand on the word of God and know that we are never alone especially in these times.
